Best restaurants near Weserstadion?

Weserstadion is a venue in or near Bremen that is most often used for Soccer

There are some great restaurants in the town – and even a few near the stadium. One of these has to be Gallo Nero! Some of the best seafood in the city is here and it is some perfect indulgence food. The same can be said for Badshah Indisches Spezialitaten Restaurant– yes, the name is a bit of a mouthful but its curries offers a great alternative to the typical German food – popular with locals and tourists alike!1885 Die Burger offers up some no-nonsense food with big portions at low prices! Think burgers, schnitzel and fries!

Simply head to Hamburger Straße where you will find a lot of great restaurants. The street is only 200m from the stadium. I can highly recommend "Roter Hahn” and "Wirtshaus”, they have great German food whereas the first option also offers international dishes. Cozy ambiance. Another great place with delicious food is "Vegefarm”. However, it is a vegan place which is usually not a football fan's first option. Other viable and very close options if you prefer international food are "La Cocina De Salva” (Spanish food) or "Mythos” (Greek food).

The Weserstadion is a little out from the city centre in the Östliche Vorstadt, but there are still plenty of restaurants to be found. Cafe Ambiente and Cafe Weserbogen, both on the city side of the stadium, are quite classy affairs and can be a break from the usual football fare, while Hamburger Straße has Italian, German, Turkish and Asian options. Fish is a local delicacies, particularly smoked herring and eel, and you should definitely try kluten, the peppermint chocolate sweets that everyone in Germany associates with Bremen.
