Bank of America Stadium is a venue in or near Charlotte that is most often used for Soccer
Make sure to grab a program when coming into the stadium. Programs are free at the gate which is nice considering some teams charge as much as $20 for them.
The Carolina crowd is pretty fun and they sing Sweet Caroline during the game. They are friendly to other fans and you get a lot of families coming to the games.
You can park near the stadium for about $40 or farther away for about $10. There is also the train that can bring you in if you don't want to pay that much.
The traffic for the most part is pretty good except for the occasional blocked street or accident that then backs up cars.
Cedar Street Tavern and Rock Street Brewery are the two most popular places to grab a drink before and after games. There is also lots of tailgating going on before the game.
The team store sells your normal Panther game such as Cam Newton jerseys, hats, t-shirts, and panther stuffed animals. There are also plenty of vendors selling things inside and outside the stadium.
There is the local zoo, lots of parks, great BBQ spots that sell Carolina BBQ and then the beach is pretty close. There is also an abundance of golf courses here for reasonable prices.
Bank of America has many brand foods such as Subway, Salsarita's, Wendy's, Bojangles', and Krispy Kreme which are available at multiple locations. There is also hot dogs, french, fries, and BBQ for there.
The Panthers give out coupons to local BBQ joints, t-shirts, bank of america souvenirs and discounts as well as posters, calendars, and everything else Bank of America can put on it.
There is lots of fast food places around like McDonalds, Zaxbys, Bojangles, and then many ma and pa BBQ joints that I didn't get to try. The Rock Brewery Tavern has good food and fills you up as well.
There are scalpers and they are usually selling them less than face value so if you time it right you can get some cheap tickets.
North Carolina as a whole is a pretty safe place and you are relatively safe from crazy people. The staff security also remove obnoxious and crude fans if there are any.
The stadium is located in downtown Charlotte and is pretty easy to get too by car. The LYNX light rail is also as an option. Parking is free and round trip tickets are just $4.
The seating from everywhere is great. I have sat in the upper deck and down at field level and both are fun in its own way. The seating on the sideline is of course better than the end zones but no matter what you are watching football.
There is the Panther logo all throughout the stadium. There are pics of Cam Newton and greats like Steve Smith and Kerry Collins. The team also puts up their playoff appearances which have been rare.
