Esprit Arena seating?

Esprit Arena is a venue in Dusseldorf

As is typical with most football grounds – the most passionate fans tend to gather behind the goals at the Esprit Arena, especially behind the South goal, the apparent home of the 'Fortunafans' and the rest of the ultras. You'll see plenty of flags and banners especially in Block 40/41, the so-called "Support Area" is a standing room area made up by the Fanprojekt Düsseldorf and the Fanbeauftragten of Fortuna. As it is a new stadium, the seats all have spectacular sight lines and the seats pretty comfy with great legroom. Ticket prices range from €11 in the corners to over €60 for the best seats in the house. It really does depend on where you want to sit.

In my opinion, the Esprit Arena is one of Germany's most modern and therefore nicest stadiums out there. Visibility is good from any position. Ticket prices are from 13€ (stances, away team) up to 46€ (category 1, very limited amount available). The average price for decent seating is about 25 to 33€. You won't have to worry about not being able to get tickets because of a full stadium as it usually never entirely sells out. Exceptions are national games. The German National Team plays regularly in Dusseldorf, you might want to book your tickets early in advance.

The stadium is new and was designed for both football and concerts, so the view everywhere is excellent. Behind the southern goal is the standing section, where the most vocal support is to be found. That'll set you back €13, with progressively dearer seats closer to the halfway line. Düsseldorf have been rubbish for years and the stadium is only half-full on average so don't worry about getting a ticket.Away fans are stuck in the corner over two levels, with standing below and seating above. The seating is more expensive and has a worse view, so try and get into the area below if at all possible.
