Best Food and Drink at Murrayfield?

Murrayfield is a venue in or near Edinburgh that is most often used for Rugby Union

Behind the North and East stands are two massive marquees which sell drinks. The beer and wine can even be taken into the stadium, so simply queue up on arrival and then go on inside with your beverages in tow! There is usually also a good selection of food trucks on site, though these will invariably cost you a frightening amount of money. That said, financial sense does go out the window on a matchday, so why not indulge?

The food at Murrayfield is one of many highlights for the fans that visit the home of Scottish rugby. Although the prices are pretty high – that's understandable – you would pay top prices at Wembley or Twickenham for example. The range of food is fantastic with something to suit any taste – with your normal hot dogs and pies joined by more upmarket fare such as Venison Burgers, Indian Curries and Hot Salmon Fillet Sandwiches! The stadium also serves alcohol from two large marquee tents before the game – behind the North and the East stands. Unlike Scottish football games, you can buy beer and other alcohol at the stadium – though do expect a long queue!
