Unlike the vast majority of football grounds around the country, the majority of the noise comes from the East Stand, that runs the length of the pitch. Most of this noise is generate by the club's band of Ultra's, the Typhoid Ultra Empolesi! The rest of the atmosphere is lacking a little bit – maybe because of the separate bleacher stands behind the goals creating a rather distant feeling.
