What to expect from the Fir Park crowd?

Fir Park is a venue in or near Glasgow that is most often used for Soccer

The term "good banter” seems to get chucked around a lot regarding Motherwell fans, and it's not hard to see why. The fans are just mad for football! They're passionate about supporting their home side, so if your team is giving them a tough game, they'll raise the noise and chanting to new levels. They're a fun group, so you should expect a lot of singing and clapping as the game goes on.

The atmosphere is everything you would expect from a mid-table Scottish side. The stadium doesn't attract huge numbers of fans, and while it's no El Classico, there is still a decent atmosphere for most matches. Most away fans have commentated on the good-natured attitudes of the home fans and while there is friendly banter constantly exchanged by the East and South stands – there is a good natured feel to games at Fir Park.
