Best Food and Drink at Stade du Roudourou?

The food and drink at the ground really isn't anything special with there just being a few piecemeal options available that you will find at any football ground in the country such as Hot Dogs and Burgers – although we are in Breton country – so you may be able to find the local speciality – the 'galette-saucisse'. It is seen in the local area as being the quintessential terrace food – and the only thing you should be eating on game day. It is a fried pork sausage, wrapped in a thin buckwheat crepe and goes deliciously with a cup of apple cider! My advice would be to either bring some food in yourself – or better yet, hold off eating until after the match and then pick a restaurant and enjoy some awesome local fare, restaurants often are open later in France than most other countries so it won't be hard to find something delicious.

There are two expat themed pubs in La Glycine and Campbells Pub that have lots of TV's that show all the day's action! If you're a fan of table football – Campbells Pub has a Guingamp themed one!

What to expect from the Stade du Roudourou crowd?

The atmosphere in the stadium and the buzz surrounding this team is justified. For such a small town, their football club are doing great things! They won the French Cup in 2014 and even played in Europe in the 2015 season! Their great group of supporters – The Kop Rouge – were voted the 'best in France' in 2001, 2003, 2014 and 2015. Safe to say they keep the atmosphere going for the full length of the match.

Stade du Roudourou seating?

The stadium is a small one – housing just over 18,000 fans – because it was built fairly recently (in stadium terms) in 1990, there are no supporting pillars, making all the sight lines excellent. The seats are also fairly comfortable with half decent leg room. The fervent home fans known as the Kop Rouge, occupy the West Stand behind the goal. Tickets for a seat behind the goal will cost between €11-16 which really isn't bad. The nicer stands of Tribunes Super U and Présidentielle line the side-lines and prices here are understandably more expensive at €25-30. Visiting supporters are given their own small odd little stand in the North East area of the ground.

From the main train station you can catch the Number 2 to 'Saint-Sauveur' or the Number 3 to 'Manoir'.There is some parking at the ground with two car parks – behind the East and South stands – be sure to get there early if you want to secure a spot.
