Portman Road seating?

Portman Road is a venue in or near Ipswich that is most often used for Soccer

The seats leave a lot to be desired. They're not terribly comfortable and the minimal legroom can actually be distracting over the course of a game. Another point is that right up the back of the stands (for the Cobbald Stand, at least) there are numerous supporting pillars and, accordingly, seats with obstructed views. Might be worth checking with the venue in advance to see if your tickets offer a quality view or not.

Most of the fans have different vibes and so you should do your homework before choosing your seat. The Bobby Robson Stand has the most vociferous fans and the language can get a little spicy. The volume here is loud and the fans are very proud. The Cobbold Stand is the one designed for away fans and also the lower tier is for families. Bear in mind though that this stand is open so if it rains - you're going to get wet. Both of the other stands also operate a strict policy on foul language so you can be assured that the atmosphere here, whilst passionate will be pretty family friendly.
