For fans buying a standard matchday ticket, the food and drinks are the same found in most football grounds around the country with burgers and pies filling the concourses. A pie will cost around £4, whereas a cup of tea will set you back £1.80. Unfortunately, the food inside Vicarage Road has been a point of contention among the fans, the majority who prefer to bring a picnic inside.However in a stark difference, Vicarage Road has some wonderful restaurants and bars for those interested in hospitality packages. As well as expensive restaurants like 'The Gallery' and 'The View', Watford offers something different, turning the broadcast area into a restaurant when it is not being used, giving a really unique experience.

If you're an away fan, you should know that you won't be sold any alcohol in the venue. If you do fancy a little merriment, you'll have to do it either side of the game! The concourse is pretty tiny given the 2,200 away supporters who are allocated seats at most games, and the food selection is pretty samey: pies, sausage rolls and hot dogs (all ranging from £3-4). A few hot drinks are available, but again they're better for warming you up than pleasuring your taste buds!
