White Hard Lane is found in the borough of Haringey, one of London’s most diverse areas. As such there are a lot of strret vendors and restaurants selling delicious, colorful and exciting food from all over the world. If you are feeling unhealthy then Chick-King might be for you, arguably the best chicken and chip shop in north London.
If you are looking for something a little more substantial than street food, then Indian Orchard is worth checking out, the curry house standing out from all the others in the area.
A little further afield are restaurants like ‘Capital’ and ‘The Banc’ which offer high class, gourmet alternatives, be prepared to spend a little more than normal however, this is London after all.
There are very minimal options close to White Hart Lane because it is a mainly residential area surrounding the stadium but the two closest are; “Koyum” and “Pavro Ocakbasi” which both serve Turkish cuisine and are quite popular with rave reviews and are reasonably priced.
If you are looking for something cheap and cheerful post-match on the way home there is a favorite takeaway shop called “Chick King” which sells a range of chicken and burgers to fans although you should make a beeline for it quickly as the queues can get really long and it is less than 15 minutes away from the stadium with reasonable prices.
For other food and restaurants you should make your way back to the train station and head further into central London where there are a lot more choices for the fussy eater.
Two words: High Road. This is the culinary street you want to hit up for a delicious dinner! There is a Turkish restaurant called Koyum which has unanimous rave reviews on TripAdvisor. In fact, foreign cuisine dominates a healthy part of the street and most of them look absolutely delicious. If it’s a big matchday, consider doing some research and booking in advance, just to be sure of a table! Indian Orchid is a fantastic curry house which offers an extensive and varied menu too, and who doesn’t love curry after a game?!
