Quite a few venues put together "on-site” pubs for fans when there aren't many drinking establishments in the area; sadly, Middlesbrough isn't one of them. Doctor Browns is only 10 minutes' away (with quality drinks!) and the atmosphere is friendly, welcoming football fans on a matchday. Apparently Lord Byron is pretty friendly to away fans, and offers a 4-pint Carling jug for a tenner! Five minutes away by foot, which is a bonus.
