Hell's kitchen is very popular and has very fine cuisine that is unique and delicious. There is also Cheesecake Factory that has huge portions and great dessert. There are also some pubs and grills from local places but I haven't tried any.
The safety in Minnesota is completely fine and I have never felt scared there. They have walkways for the city to embrace the cold which is really nice and keeps you inside. People are also very friendly and willing to help give directions and help those in need.
There are numerous parking ramps that surround the Target Center as well as plenty of parking on the street. The parking prices ranges from $5-$15 which isn't bad for an NBA city.
You have a little traffic coming into the city during the end of rush hour but it isn't too bad. There is also a little traffic leaving the game from all the cars trying to get on the freeway but they do a good job of directing traffic and syncing lights.
There is the Great Mall of America, ice skating rings, natural outdoor parks, the Twin Cities zoo, and Target and Best Buy headquarters.
The Timberwolves have not had a great history since joining the NBA in 1990 and only reached the playoffs a few times in the Kevin Garnett years. He will definitely get his jersey retired but there are no real artifacts because they sadly haven't had any success.
The Target Center is the only stadium that has a fitness center for fans (Lifetime Fitness) where people can go workout before or after a game. This saves time for busy workers and since people don't like to go outside during the Winter here this was a great marketing plan for the Target Center.
The Wolf pack store features popular players jerseys, t-shirts, hats, basketball gear, T-Wolves stuffed animals, stickers, posters, and other memorabilia. There are also plenty of gear at local Targets.
They have some unique things like a Cubano sandwich and burritos. Then they have the regular pizza, chicken tender basket, hot dogs and a whole slew of hamburgers to choose from.
The Target Center gives out bobbleheads of Kevin Garnett and Kevin Love (before he left) and then t-shirts, hats, and other things from Target.
The Timberwolves have been cloaked with disappointment over the years and have never received a top free agent. The fans still like to come and cheer and are very friendly. You also see jerseys from other teams as much as the stars from the Wolves team.
There are scalpers outside the stadium but you really don't need to deal with them since the games are rarely sold out. Make sure not to pay above face value for tickets unless they are in the front row.
Ike's Food and Cocktails has a wide selection of good food and great drinks and has a great cosmopolitan. There are also a few different pubs that are dark and have better drink specials than food.
The Target Center is located in downtown Minneapolis Minnesota and Target is on 600 1st Ave N Minneapolis, MN 55403. There are freeways that take you directly to the stadium and is easy to get to.
