Best insider tip for Citi Field?

Citi Field is a venue in or near New York that is most often used for Baseball

On Mr. Met Dash dates (weather permitting), youngsters, aged 12 and under, can run the bases at Citi Field after the Mets game. The 2015 Mr. Met Dash takes place after every Sunday home day game. On Dash days, guests wishing to participate will be asked to exit the ballpark and form a line outside the Bullpen Gate on 126th Street. Orange members of the Mr. Met's Kids Club will have access to the Fast Pass Line for the Mr. Met Dash every Sunday in 2015.

Widely considered the best burger in New York, Danny Meyer's famous Shake Shack has an outpost in center field. The burger itself is a thing of simple beauty swaddled in a wax-paper jacket. Hot dogs and fries round out the menu. The problem lies in the 3-inning wait in line. To pass the time you can dispatch a fellow burger lover to retrieve other foodstuffs and drinks while you wait. Or just skip Shake Shack entirely. Insider Tip: Brooklyn Brewery has crafted four specialty beers for the four different Danny Meyer-owned concession stands at Citi Field. Shake Shake features the specialty Shackmeister Ale for around eight bucks. Red and white wines are also available.
