Best restaurants near Yankee Stadium?

Yankee Stadium is the home of the New York Yankees and New York City FC. It is an outdoor ballpark primarily used for Major League Baseball games with a seating capacity of over 50,000 people. Yankee Stadium is located in the Bronx, about 15km drive from Midtown Manhattan. Construction on the stadium began in 2006, and to this day it is one of the most expensive stadiums ever built.

Never ate at a restaurant outside the stadium area but if you want the full ball game experience, you have to get food from one of the vendors inside the ball park. Obviously, you will be paying $20-$25 just for a beer + burger but it adds on to the whole experience. Plenty of different food vendors to choose from so you do have variety.

The Feeding Tree Bronx restaurant is almost next door to Yankee Stadium. It is something of an institution. Jamaican often means jerk, and, as a Jamaican restaurant, The Feeding Tree does jerk chicken and jerk shrimp particularly well. Other items in regular rotation on the menu include oxtail stew, curried goat, and ackee (a type of fruit) with saltfish. I also agree with Robby that part of the experience is to eat inside the stadium and the Yankees cater to all tastes.
