One of the best pubs close to the ground is the revered Stuhlfauth-Stuben which is packed on a match day with lots of ardent supporters. There are pictures that dot the walls that show moments from the club's glorious history – when they used to be the country's most successful club!If the weather is nice and the sun is shining there are a couple of options nearby with some lovely beer gardens. Gaststatte Zeppelinfeld is a traditional restaurant/beer hall than has been serving up steins of beer for many years now. A more new age vibe can be found at S'Gartla – both places welcome fans and of course appreciate their business of a game day!

Stuhlfauth-Stuben is the first place that comes to my mind if talking about any pubs near the Nuremberg stadion. A great locality for a couple of drinks right before any given home game. Fills up pretty quickly as it's usually very busy and popular on match days. About 1km from the venue. The second place I have in mind is more or less like the Nuremberg club home. It's called Max-Mohrlock-Treff and basically right next to the stadium. Cannot be any more local than this!Keep in mind that both places are very local fan pubs. If you want a somewhat more laid back and neutral atmosphere, you should probably go for bars in the city center or near Nuremberg Central Station.

Some people in Nürnberg would like everything to be named after Max Morlock, from the stadium to the street and one of the blocks inside the ground. Add to that list the Max-Morlock-Treff, a sports bar inside the stadium grounds. It's the perfect place to get into the spirit before the match and heavily recommended.
