Chase Field is a venue in or near Phoenix that is most often used for Baseball
The Diamondbacks fans are a lot of fun and there are a lot of families around. The fans like their baseball and are there more for the experience than if their team actually wins.
Alice Cooperstown is a cool local joint that has a great mix of music blasting and sports on TV. They have a bunch of cocktails, margaritas, and beer choices and are open late.
Chase Field has a store inside the stadium that sells all sorts of Diamondback memorabilia such as jerseys, t-shirts, rattlesnakes inside jars, snakeskin belts, etc.
Tickets are usually easy to purchase on game days or from scalpers around the ballpark. They are pretty friendly and I have not heard of any fraudulent tickets purchased from them.
If you are going to do one thing when in town I would try to get friends or make some and rent out the Chase Field's swimming pool which is in the right field bleachers. The pool costs around $3,500 to rent out but you can bring 34 of your closest friends with you for a pool party at a baseball game. Get some friends and get to the pool!
Pizza Biancos is a great pizza joint close to the stadium and has their specialty Mexican pizza. There is another place called Cafe Rio which is a Tex-Mex place that has the most authentic Mexican food for under $10. They have a pork burrito that is marinated in coke so it is super sweet and perfect in a burrito or salad.
Chase Field is located at 401 E. Jefferson Street. It is bounded by Seventh Street, Fourth Street, Jefferson Street and railroad tracks. It is a few minutes from the freeway and is one of the larger buildings downtown so it's very hard to go by.
There's a map of the state of Arizona on the ground, and the walls have murals of different locations in Arizona and a history of sports. There's also the 2001 World Series trophy that the Diamondbacks won over the evil empire (NY Yankees). There are also pictures and memorabilia from the team over the years in cases inside the stadium.
Chase Field has hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, pretzels and the regular beer and soda. They do have a unique joint in the outfield concession stand where they sell really fresh tamales that are some of the better ones I have ever eaten. The Diamondbacks charge some of the cheaper prices for food and drink and you can get a beer or soda for around $4.
They give away t-shirts with Diamondbacks on the front and Chase on the back. They give away t-shirts, hats, coolers, beer can coolers, posters, and baseball cards of the current stars.
The traffic around Chase Field is not bad at all since there is parking everywhere and fans walk to their cars a few blocks away so there aren't backlogs of cars trying to get out.
Parking is everywhere and there are plenty of private lots that vary depending on who the Diamondbacks are playing for around $5-$10.
They have a cool rattlesnake statue in front of the stadium. There is also the 2001 World Series trophy in a case along with other memorabilia for their league and division championships.
