Known as one of the most passionate fan groups in the whole of Europe – Roazhon Park is home to some of the most fervent ultras in the country. The different bands of supporters, especially the Roazhon Celtic Kop create grand banners and choreographed songs and chants that intimidate the away fans and teams. With the proximity between some of the home and away fans, the East Stand has been known to get a bit spicy – so if you're visiting as an away fan, just be aware and be sensible.

How do I get to Roazhon Park?

The best way to get to Roazhon Park is probably the bus! With service number 11 leaving from the main hub of 'Place du Republique' every 30 minutes and only taking 10-15 minutes to reach the stadium; you'll be hard pressed to find a quicker way!If you are arriving to Rennes via train – you can catch either the number 54 or 55 from Charles de Gaulle Station and drop off at 'Geniaux' with is just a short walk to the stadium.There is also ample parking near Roazhon Park, with around 3 separate garages offering over 1,000 sports of free all day parking!

Best Food and Drink at Roazhon Park?

There is of course the usual food and drink on sale at Roazhon park – however while you are in Brittany, you have to try the local speciality – the 'galette-saucisse'. It is seen in the local area as being the quintessential terrace food – and the only thing you should be eating on game day. It is a fried pork sausage, wrapped in a thin buckwheat crepe and goes deliciously with a cup of apple cider!The sausage is associated so much with the club – that local rivals Nantes have nicknamed the Stade Rennais fans 'galette-saucisses'!
