San Diego is one of the greatest places on earth and I would retire there in a heartbeat if it wasn't so dang expensive. If you get a chance, make the hike to the upper concourse, there are certainly some great views of the surrounding area. . You are also almost guaranteed clear blue skies and temperatures that are neither too hot nor too cold.

The stadium is right off Interstate-15 or Interstate-8, but the final stretch of the drive gets really backlogged and can easily take an hour or so. The traffic compares with big cities like Chicago, Washington, DC and New York.

There is not a bad seat in the stadium. I like sitting up in the Upper level so I can check out the surroundings and views and also get a nice breeze on game days which makes it the perfect temperature.

The San Diego Zoo is a must. There is also Coronado Island which has beautiful sandy beaches. There is also Tijuana not too far away if you like being adventurous.
Safety at Qualcomm Stadium?
The stadium is in a great spot in San Diego and you couldn't feel safer if you were in your mother's arms. There are also plenty of security in case people get out of hand but I have never seen a situation where they got involved.
