It's not the most glamorous of meals but sometimes a burger just hits the spot and no other food will do. Enter 'Triple B – Beef Burger Brothers', who have perfected the art of making a damn good burger! Perfect for soaking up all those pilsners!Brenner is a local favourite, that offers up a surprise every time you go there. The reason? The menu changes daily. It's not a very large place, or a very big menu, but the food is packed full of flavour and with a main only being €10 – it's a bargain!It might not be the most German place in the whole of Stuttgart but The Aulde Rouge is a place that you can find some top beers and some great food. It's one of the many Irish bars in the city, but it takes some beating!

Whether you want to just have a snack before or after the match or a nice dinner, Stuttgart offers you everything. Right next to the stadium there are the fan pubs "Palm Beach” and "1893 – das Clubrestaurant” which will offer you snacks like Burgers or Currywurst. Always fun places to go to right before or after the event. If you want a nice dinner there are two places I highly recommend. They both are about 1.8km from the stadium, but believe me, they are both super worth visiting. First one is "Weinstube am Stadtgraben” and second one is "Der Rote Hirsch”. Maybe the second place is even a bit more traditional, nonetheless, they both serve extraordinary, delicious German food. Probably the two best places in town.

The area around the Mercedes-Benz Arena is replete with themed restaurants for your delectation. The 1893 Club Restaurant is Vfl Stuttgart's go-to eatery, though it is recommended that you book ahead on matchdays, while Sportrestaurant im Neckarpark is a more general sports-themed location. Aside from these sit-down joints, there is also Olümp, which has takeout.
