The Fox and Hounds is a gastropub just over a mile from Silverstone, in the village of Whittlebury. Despite its location, the restaurant has made a name for itself and is a hotspot for visitors to Silverstone who want to enjoy authentic British food done well. The food is excellent, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the drinks selection is as good as any local English pub. Maybe book a table in advance, just in case.

If you are willing to drive a little bit then there are some fantastic restaurants near Silverstone. There is of course the Silverstone Circuit Restaurant but it does seem to be a tad overpriced and have fairly average food.The Folly Inn in nearby Towcester is a fantastic place - a charming 'traditional' looking English pub - it serves some fantastic food with some great staff and service. It is worth booking a table in advance though as the whole of Silverstone may be looking to get some dinner here.If the Folly Inn is full and you don't fancy any gastro-pub food then head to the Spice Lounge in Brackley - another great little village near Silverstone, they have some awesome Indian food.
