If you are in the mood for Schnitzel, Dumplings, Bratwurst and Strudel, then Hoffbrau is the place for you. Found in the heart of the old town, this place does German food excellently and is definitely worth a visit.German food can be a little heavy – so if you are after something a little lighter – or perhaps something with a little more cheese, why not head to Salino. Offering a taste of Italy in Bamberg, their pizza is to die for and their salads are great.Sometimes nothing else will do than an enormous steak – luckily, this is what Hoffmans Steak and Fisch specialise in! They serve great beer, sumptuous steaks and some expertly cooked fish – this is a perfect way to celebrate a Brose Baskets win!

There are three rather small locations within walking distance from the stadium, but I usually only go to "La Sosta”. A decent Thai place that serves good and pricey food in a nice ambiance. Only about 200m from the venue. Other localities are called "Försterklause” and "Pfefferraum” (both German food). For a really nice dinner after a game I highly recommend "Kropf Bamberger Köstlichkeiten” and "Hoffmann Steak & Fisch”. They both have amazing food, probably the two best places to find in the city center of Bamberg!

In the same complex as the Brose Arena, there is Jade, an Asian restaurant and Pfefferraum, a steakhouse. Both are reasonably priced and perfect for a pre-match meal if you're looking to stay as close as possible to the action. For those wanting something a little simple, there are both McDonalds and Burger King up there road on Berliner Ring.
