Best Bars around Olympiastadion?

Olympiastadion is a venue in or near Berlin that is most often used for Soccer

If you want to drink a few beers with some of Hertha Berlins most committed fans, then you should head out to where their old stadium was and go to Bierbrunnen an der Plumpe. This Hertha Bar is filled with nostalgic memorabilia, as well as fans who have been following the team for years. The area around the Olympiastadion is full of good places to have a drink as well. As soon as you get out of the metro system, you will see a couple of kiosks, "Zur Blau-Weißen Legende” and "Berlineya Sektoya” both serve really cold beer and €2 Sausages! If the weather is nice - Wurstmaxx Biergarten does a roaring trade! It might be worth your while to get drinks outside of the stadium, especially if you are a beer enthusiast. Otherwise you will be stick with the 3% Carlsberg inside!

There are two spots where you will most certainly end up if you plan to watch a football game and want to join in on some home fans. First one is 'Pichelsberger Krug'. Very local place, nothing fancy, but usually great atmosphere and friendly people. Similar to this is the Westend-Clause, another pub which makes you feel like at home. Great beer and always open on match-days. After victories of Hertha BSC those two pubs are likely to be open till late at night.

The area around the Olympiastadion is somewhat sleepy but the pubs are packed on matchdays. Olympia-Eck, right by the S-Bahn station and the Stadionterrassen, next to the main gate, is hugely popular with Hertha fans, though perhaps not for away supporters. Get yourself there early to make the most of the atmosphere - they will certainly fill up quickly. What locals do, however, is buy beer in the spätkauf (corner shop) and mill outside the ground. It's cheaper and you won't have to stand in a queue - so grab a Berliner Kindl for €1 and make like everyone else.
