Things to check out around Gillette Stadium?

Gillette Stadium is a venue in or near Boston that is most often used for Soccer

If you're visiting from out of town and spending the weekend in the area, the Patriots Hall of Fame is an absolute must. It isn't open on game days, but if you are a Patriots fan making the pilgrimage, you will be in heaven. It is much more than your garden variety team hall of fame; it is interactive, family-friendly and for those new to the NFL, gives an exhaustive history of the league and the franchise.

Patriot Place is an open air shopping center located on the grounds of Gillette Stadium. It's much, much more then a typically shopping center. Of course there are many great shops, and restaurants, but it also houses a top notch bowling alley, state of the art movie theater, interactive themed games, and best of all, the Patriots Hall of Fame. If you'd like to try on Tom Brady's game worn uniform, or are interested in seeing the Four Vince Lombardi Super Bowl Championship Trophy's in person, then I highly suggest visiting the Hall at Patriot Place.

You can visit all of old town Boston and the revolutionary and colonial historic spots such as the Boston Harbor and Paul Revere's ride. Plymouth Rock is around an hour away and is a pretty cool historic town. They also have lots of shopping.
