Progressive Field is a venue in or near Cleveland that is most often used for Baseball
Progressive Field has Dollar Dog nights multiple times during the season. Nothing beats a hot dog with stadium mustard. If you are foodie then Progressive Field has something for you as well. The ballpark added local favorites such as Melt, Barrio, and Sweet Moses to name a few.
Progressive Field has a wide variety of seating options. Bleachers, Bullpen, and standing room only available in the new Right Field District are just a few of the options available.
I would definitely say the Thirsty Parrot. People go there before and after the game. Other favorites that are nearby are the Winking Lizard and Paninis.
You should definitely visit the Indians Team Shop to get all the best Tribe gear!
Progressive Field is very safe with plenty of security.
Everyone attending a game at Progressive Field is allowed to bring one unopened bottle of water into the stadium with them. It sure beats paying the stadium price.
Yes there are scalpers at Progressive as well as people selling peanuts and bottled water right outside the stadium. The best way to deal with the scalpers is to just say, "No thank you!"
Progressive Field is located on the corner of Carnegie and Ontario. Highways 77, 480, and 271 all lead here!
Located near Progressive Field is East 4th St. On this popular strip downtown is the House of Blues, Corner Alley, Pickwick and Frolic, The Greenhouse Tavern, Red (Steakhouse), Zocalo, Wonder Bar, and much much more that I haven't listed here!
There are many parking lots and garages in the surrounding area with rates that range from $5 to $20. There is also the option of experiencing Ohio City (W. 25th & Lorain) before the game by parking there and riding the Great Lakes Brewery shuttle for $1 when you show your game ticket on Monday - Saturday Games. Another option is to ride the Indians shuttle for free on Friday and Saturday home games.
The free Bobbleheads of the different players given to the fans as they enter the stadium is always a favorite of mine. You do have to get there early as supplies are limited.
The traffic gets pretty bad the day of a game and the parking lots near Progressive Field fill up pretty quickly. I suggest the earlier you get down there the better. You can attend the new pregame parties Progressive Field will be hosting this summer before games in the new Right Field District.
Anyone that visits Progressive Field should make sure they visit Heritage Park to see past baseball legends.
My favorite spot is the Thirsty Parrot across the street from Progressive Field. Grab some food or drinks before you head to the game or after!
The crowd at Progressive Field is a great crowd full of energy, excitement, and ready to see their Indians win the game!
