Coral lager dominates the beer market on the island of Madeira and can be readily accessed for stadium visitors. Madeiran food differs slightly from traditional Portuguese cuisine with Espetada (chunks of beef smeared in garlic and salt pierced through a bay leaf stick) a common sight on the terraces and grilled chicken is also a Madeiran specialty.
