If you have the rest of the day or evening to spend a little time, then I wholly recommend taking a trip out to the West End. You can hop on the Subway and be there in a jiffy. If you're looking for drinks or food somewhere nice, then you can't do better than Ashton Lane; it's a classic, cobbled street with quaint little bars and a great vibe. The rest of the West End has great shopping, museums and arts & culture spots, so you're bound to find something you like.

One of Glasgow's favourite and most famous sons Charles Mackintosh has designed some of Glasgow's most architecturally stunning buildings and there are tributes to him over the city. The biggest tribute has to be the Mackintosh House – a terrace house that was bought by the architect and filled with some of his most idiosyncratic pieces!Glasgow's favourite beer is Tennants – and so why not take a tour of the Tennants factory, as well as being really interesting – there are some great perks. Beer tasting of samples that you can't buy in the shop and a free pint at the end are just some of them!Buchanan Street is the place that most people gravitate to when they're in Glasgow and it is easy to see why! With some fantastic shops and some great restaurants, you can shop till you drop and then get some amazing refreshments. The whole street has an atmosphere that will make you want to stay there all day!
