The Fritz Walter Stadion is only around 1km away from the main train staion in Kaiserslautern – which means if you are arriving into the city by train, its only around a 5-10 minute walk to the football ground!It's a little bit further out from the city centre (2km) but even that walk should take you no longer than 20 minute. However if you really don't feel like walking, your game ticket acts as a days transport pass – so if you're in the city centre – hop on the Bus Line 2, outlide the town hall and ride it to the ground.There is a park and ride system in place for people who drive to the stadium as well. Two hours before the game, shuttles start running between the parking lots at Opel, the University, Kaiserslautern East, and the stadium.

Car: The stadium may be easy to access by car, but the parking situation is pretty insufficient. You should use one of the many Park & Ride options in the city and respectively near the stadium. Simply follow the "P+R” signs in the area once you get off the A6 at the exit "Kaiserslautern-Ost”. Bus: Busses will get you right to the stadium. Take the line 102 starting at the town hall in the city center. On your way back you can get onto any busses departing from Central Station which is nearby the stadium. Rides are for free if you're already holding a valid football ticket. Train: For all the people coming from further away, the Central Station is very close to the stadium. It's only about five minutes to walk. Signs with a football on them will guide you.

The Fritz-Walter-Stadion is right in the centre of town and thus the most sensible way to get there is simply to walk. It's just a kilometre away, though that can take a deceptively long time as the stadium sits atop - and indeed is often known as - the Betzenberg, a decently sized hill. The station is easily reached from all over the Rhineland-Palatinate and indeed, all over Germany. It's on the main line between Berlin and Paris so almost every Intercity train stops there.
