Things to check out around Selhurst Park?

A stadium tour is now offered (as of 2016) on non-matchdays and cost £12.50 for adults and £7.50 for under 16's, £10 for seniors and under 5's are free (although there are family tickets available to save on cost). It covers most of the stadium, changing rooms, dugout and trophy display for those who want to see some football memorabilia (although you have to book in advance).Although there are minimal tourist attractions in the surrounding area there is plenty to do a few miles away with Crystal Palace Park and a beautiful and quirky attraction that you can freely visit around two miles away. If you want to venture to Croydon before the matches there is plenty of shopping, a museum and Fairfield halls which is available for theatre shows and performances year round.

Upon arriving to Selhurst Park fans should all make sure to check out Crystal Palaces Fan Zone. Located in the main car park near entrance 10, there is always something to see and something to do. There is always a DJ playing live music 3 hours before kick off, and for supporters travelling with family, there is a kids zone. The kids zone offers fun games and sports skills as well as interactive competitions, guaranteed to entertain everyone. The clubs mascots and cheer-leading squad will always be here as well from 1pm, so be sure to get a picture!Crystal Palace does offer an in depth stadium tour of Selhurst Park with access to the press area, changing room, players tunnel and the dugout itself for around £15 for an adult ticket and £10 for a child! However these do not run on match days. 

Being in south London, there's no shortage of little day or afternoon trips you can make! If you're out with the family, try the Dinosaur Court at the Crystal Palace park; it uses massive sculptures of dinosaurs to teach us all about the giants who used to rule the planet. If you're a die-hard Palace fan, maybe the stadium tour would suit you better. Only costs £12.50 for an adult with special concessions for families and is great fun!
