What to expect from the The O2 crowd?

The O2 is a venue in or near London that is most often used for Basketball

There is an excellent atmosphere at the 02 Arena no matter what event is on that night. From concerts to high profile boxing matches, the 02 is very accessible. Measures have been taken to ensure that the 02 is as safe as it can be, so be prepared for a high level of security when you arrive.Tickets will be checked and small bags searched before entering the stadium, you should note that outside food and drink are not allowed into the arena or any of the shows. After that you will go through an airport style security screening, so don't forget to empty your pockets - don't worry though, your shoes and belt can stay on!This however does not take away from the atmosphere, with everyone feeling safe and sound.

The O2 is built to accommodate 20,000 spectators (which is absolutely bonkers!) so if you get an event which doesn't sell out, there could be a sense of lacking atmosphere. Big events, like the ATP World Tour Finals (pro tennis), fetch capacity crowds and what's amazing to see is that everyone gets involved in the matches! There's palpable tension, emotion and excitement in the O2 which you just don't get anywhere else. The fact it's indoors makes it seem more close and personal than most stadia.
