Be sure to visit the life size John Wooden statue, former coach of the Bruins, outside the arena. There's a plaque listing his years of service and his well-known quotes. Also note the empty seat behind the Bruins' bench. The school keeps this open to honor Wooden. He sat there every home game once his coaching days were over. The traffic in the area of the pavilion is highly congested so allow yourself ample time to commute and park.
