You may find it a bit difficult to find a place to have a few drinks around the stadium, with the only real option being the restaurant Le Coueron; with the owners setting up an outdoor terrace bar which looks directly onto the stadium.The best options are back in Lyon itself – There is a good selection of expat styled sports bars and pubs to choose from with The Smoking Dog, The Antidote and The Wallace all being great choices – English and Irish style pubs respectively, they offer good beers in a friendly atmosphere.

Parc Olympique Lyonnais is located outside of the city, which unfortunately means there is nothing truly interesting around it. Good thing is that it has great tram, train, and bus connections. You'll need around 20 minutes to reach the railway station of Lyon Part-dieu, which is the main crossroads of public transportations in Lyon.
