The Victoria Racing Club's Flemington Racecourse is the most famous race course in Australia and has had race meetings run each year since 1840. It is the home of the "race that stops the nation", the Melbourne Cup, as well as a range of other high-profile Horse Racing events throughout the year. Directions to Flemington Racecourse?

Flemington has its own train station right next to the main grandstand which runs on racedays. Trains depart from Flinders Street and Southern Cross. Trains do stop at North Melbourne if you're travelling from the northern or western suburbs.Trams are a little slower, but the No. 57 West Maribyrnong tram starts on Elizabeth Street. Get off at stop 30, right at Flemington Drive.

On normal race days, there is free parking available on-course. Enter off Epsom Road onto Flemington Drive. During the Melbourne Cup Carnival, there is limited public car parking available in the centre car park. Enter off Smithfield Road at the Stables Drive entrance.
