The area around the stadium really isn't that great for grabbing some pre-match beers. Most fans choose to set up shop on Heidelberg Avenue at one of the many makeshift beer tents. It doesn't sound like much, but beneath the beaming sun, there is a real party atmosphere before a game.If you want the familiar surroundings of a bar however, there is Brasserie de la Mosson – just off the Heidelberg Avenue. It is sparce inside and there is just one tap serving Kronenbourg – but there are a lot of regulars in here will football talk buzzing around.Otherwise The Shakespeare and The Vert Anglais are both British themed pubs that attract a large expat crowd and have good happy hours to take advantage of!

Mosson's neighborhood is not a place to hang out. Firstly, because there is nothing to do but being in the stadium around there. Secondly, because it is a popular neighborhood and you might not feel safe as a tourist here. If you want to hang out and have a drink, the best is to use public transport and go to the city center—it will take you around 20 minutes.
