Things to check out around Allianz Arena?

Allianz Arena is a venue in or near Munich that is most often used for Soccer

Why not go behind the scenes at the Allianz and walk in the same corridors as Arjen Robben, Robert Lewandowski and Matts Hummels by going on a stadium tour. The tour lasts around an hour and takes you into the press rooms, the hospitality areas and more importantly down to the changing rooms and next to the hallowed turf! For just €10 its perfect!

Munich is one of the most interesting cities in Germany. However, most of the sights are pretty far away from the stadium. One thing to do if you're already there, check out the "FCB Erlebniswelt” - a great museum about Bayern Munich, right inside of the stadium. Other than that, your best option is to get to the Munich "Marienplatz” which is the actual city center. Finding yourself right in front of the town hall, simply stroll along the pedestrian zone and see all the historical and beautiful buildings. Another insider tip is to check out the "Alter Peter” - an old church tower that can be climbed and gives you an extraordinary view of the entire city, you will even be able to stop the alps on a bright day.

The Arena is deliberately miles away from everything and realistically there isn't a lot around it, but even if there was, if probably wouldn't be as interesting as the stadium tour. The Allianz Arena is not only the most modern stadium in Germany, it is also the home of the country's most celebrated club, so take a the tour and enjoy the FC Bayern museum as well. It's €19 for adults and €11 for kids.
