Best bars near Yankee Stadium?

Yankee Stadium is the home of the New York Yankees and New York City FC. It is an outdoor ballpark primarily used for Major League Baseball games with a seating capacity of over 50,000 people. Yankee Stadium is located in the Bronx, about 15km drive from Midtown Manhattan. Construction on the stadium began in 2006, and to this day it is one of the most expensive stadiums ever built.

Stan's sports Bar on River Avenue is just steps from the stadium and is a must visit for all travelling fans. The walls have loads of memorabilia and it gets rowdy before, during and just after the game. If you're looking to truly experience "Yankee country” – this is the place to do so.

I am not a drinker so I haven't been to many bars but my friends say that Teddy's bar and grill is their favorite place to get a drink and they have some good appetizers to munch down on.

We went to Stan's Sports bar which is close by to the stadium and it was legit! Seemed to be some real die-hard Yankee fans in here- which was exactly the experience I was looking for as an out of towner. Great atmosphere and a good choice of beers. I wouldn't be going in here supporting the visiting team though.
