How do I get to St. James' Park?

St James Park is a venue in or near Newcastle that is most often used for Soccer

Probably the best option for drivers is to cruise on up to Newcastle College and park there. It's £4 for the day (or the duration of a match, with considerable leeway) and has 400 spaces, so if you arrive nice and early you're virtually guaranteed access. Otherwise there are Pay and Displays all over, since you are in the city centre. The train station (Newcastle Central) is only 10-15 minutes' walk away, though if you want to visit pubs en route, you should arrive a good bit earlier!

There are a fair few car parks near the stadium so parking shouldn't be an issue.. The Gallowgate end has a small car park, however, because the ground is so central to the city, parking is much easier than most places. The Gate Car Park, The NCP multi story car and Grosvenor Casino all have pay and display options. There is also two park and ride services available, one just off the motorway, and the other at the Metro Centre via the Soccer bus. which might be a great way to beat the traffic.St James' is only a 15 minute walk from the station, though if you don't fancy walking you can grab a metro from Central to Monument station, switch lines and take another metro to St James' park itself.
