Despite now spending a few years in the second league of German football– the food and drink options haven't really changed that much in the stadium. The quality of the food and drink is pretty decent and you will find the usual stadium fare to be eaten here, Kebabs, Hamburgers, Sausages and Pretzels are all served via the stadiums 34 kiosks!

In my opinion, food options in Nuremberg are amongst the best of all German stadiums. On the one hand, the city is home to the so-called "Nürnberger Rostbratwürstel' – a kind of sausage, they sell it in the stadium as "Drei im Weckla”, simply great. Even better might be the steak they serve in a roll, probably the best food item I've ever tried in a german football venue. Beer is 3,50€ for half a liter, they serve "Kulmbacher”. During games with high risk potential they only sell light beer.

This is Bavaria, so bratwurst and bier is always a popular choice. This is also Nürnberg, however, and that means Nürnberger bratwurst, a unique type of sausage that you'll only get here. It's a little more spiced than usual and instead of one big wurst, comes as three small ones. Lather it up with mustard and enjoy a little local flavour. The local choice to wash it down is Grüner, an unusual choice as it is brewed in Fürth, with whom FC Nürnberg share a huge rivalry.
