There's really very little of note near the stadium, so if you want to do something fun, you're probably going to be doing that back in Perth itself. The Black Watch Castle is always an option. It's a detailed and really insightful history of what the Black Watch achieved in their time. The tour guides are exceptionally knowledgeable, which really enhances the experience. For a different taste of Scottish culture and history, consider Scone Palace, which is just jawdroppingly beautiful.

There are a tonne of things to keep you busy in Perth and the surrounding areas if you are just here for a weekend or are even spending a week in this glorious area of the country! There are a number of distilleries in the area that are begging to be toured and sampled – from smaller ones selling unique whiskey to the bigger 'Famous Grouse Experience'.The Scottish Crannog Centre is also something that you have to look at while you are in the area! It gives you a hands on look at a civilisation that was around 2,500 years ago! It really feels like you have stepped back in time and are in the Iron Age!While you are in the area – why not take a trip to the highlands and see Loch Ness! Who knows, you may even catch a glimpse of the monster!
