Best bars near Citizens Bank Park?

Citizens Bank Park is the home of the Philadelphia Phillies. An outdoor ballpark, primarily used for baseball games with a seating capacity of approximately 42,000. Located in the heart of Philadelphia, about 6 kilometres from the city centre. Behind center field at Citizens Bank Park is Ashburn Alley, an open concourse showcasing Phillies history, restaurants, stores and interactive displays on gameday.

McFaddens ballpark is by far the best bar to go to pre and post game. However, it becomes crowded fast so make sure to leave early enough to get a stool or seat. They also have great food and specials for when the Phillies win.

Just like when I go to a Flyers Game at the Wells Fargo Center The two places that I enjoy are McGillins Olde Ale House on Drury Street & Chickie's & Pete's on Packer Ave. On weekends, McGillins can get a pretty heavy college crowd, but the prices are really good. C&P's has great food, lots of room and is family friendly. It is hard to beat a Yard of Beer, Crab Fries and a Cheese Steak at Chickie's & Pete's. I was also told by some of the people sitting around us that McFaddens is a great Ball Park Bar, but it gets crowded and may not be the best choice with the little ones.
