My most memorable game at Citizens Park was watching Ryan Howard belt a home run “old school style” into the stands. I remember the MVP candidate of old when I think of Howard but lately his age has been showing. It may have been just one game, but Howard finally broke out of his early season slump, going 2-for-3 with a walk and the go-ahead two-run home run, and the Phillies 7 runs to beat the Miami Marlins 7-3 at Citizens Bank Park. The crowd was ecstatic at seeing Howard hit his home run and I was too because I got to enjoy a nice Philly Cheese Steak on a lovely afternoon.
