The Red Ring and Meat and potatoes are two of my favorite places by the stadium. Meats and Potatoes has a huge selection and good portions of food. The Red Ring is a little more for the younger crowd but a lot of Penguin fans come here pre-and post game.

There isn't too much traffic coming into the games but leaving causes a problem because the lights seem to all be backed up by the garages. They need to hire some more police to manage this so it doesn't create a back up.

The best food are the chicken sandwich and fries combo right by the main entrance. They also have polish sausages, nachos, pretzels, and pizza. I wish they had some unique things like Chick Fil A or Chipotle in there like some other new stadiums.

The Souper Bowle is a great little place that serves good food and a plethora of drinks. Sonoma Grille is a good place that has a huge wine selection and nice jazz music going on. There are also some sports bars around the stadium that I haven't tried yet but heard they are good from local fans.

I like to sit as close to the ice as I can but those tickets are expensive. The next best spot it to sit between Center Ice and the blue lines about 5 rows up in the second level because those seats are significantly cheaper.

There is the Andy Warhol museum which is cool. The PNC park for a Pittsburgh game is a great place to see a game. There is also good shopping and theaters in downtown.

There are a series of offset panes of glass that have been etched with pictures of all of the NHL's major awards including the President's Trophy, Conn Smythe and Stanley Cup. Under each etching is the names and or years in which Penguins players or teams have achieved the above.There are also pictures of Lemeiux and Jagr and other Penguin greats and those teams that won the Stanley Cup in the early 1990s and late 2000s.

The safety at the game is fine and the stadium is in a good spot in downtown Pittsburgh. There are also thousands of fans coming and going to bars, their cars, and restaurants. The fans are also pretty nice to opposing teams as well.
