I was at the game in 2012 when the Nationals choked their lead away in the last two innings. The relief pitching was atrocious and you could feel the let down from the players and crowd with each impending pitch. It reminded me of “Bartman” when the Cubs lost to the Marlins. You just had a feeling that something was going to go bad. The Nationals ended up losing the game and the series. The Cardinals went on to win the World Series.
