Best pre-game bars at Gillette Stadium?

Gillette Stadium is a venue in or near Boston that is most often used for Soccer

While Foxborough isn't known for its flourishing night life, there are still a number of great options within the outdoor mall surrounding the stadium, Patriot Place. If you are in the mood for reasonably priced beer, high quality bar food and looking for a reliable place to get a view of a TV, I would recommend Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill or Bar Louie. Both of which are better options than the far more popular CBS Scene which is often plagued with over-crowdedness. If you've grown tired of sitting in a booth and arguing about football with your buddies, check out Splitsville and Howl at the Moon, also located at Patriot Place. You'll get a similar sports bar feel but with the added bonus of bowling if you're so inclined.

The CBS Scene is a great place to hang out before a game at Gillette Stadium. The food and drinks are good, and the atmosphere is great. There's a large Bar, and Big Screen High Definition TV's are everywhere, showing many sporting events, pre-game shows, and classic CBS programming. There's even a 360 square foot projection wall, and tabletop televisions. During Patriot games, the place gets extremely crowded. It's well worth getting there early.

There is Toby Keith's Bar and Grill but this place is horrible and has horrible service. However, the drinks are good and they have TVs and a huge dance floor for people to congregate by.

CBS Scene is definitely a very popular spot for pre-gaming with lots of TVs and a fan filled atmosphere, but gets crowded very quickly. They also have an outdoor patio deck area that faces the stadium with a view of the field. Toby Keith's and Bar Louie are great alternatives, and both have more open bar areas so it's a little easier to move around. Food and drinks are good at decent prices.
