How do I get to Aviva Stadium?

Aviva Stadium is a venue in or near Dublin that is most often used for Rugby Union

Lansdowne Road is actually the train station at the venue itself – how convenient! Hop on the Dart Line from the middle of town and you'll have nothing to worry about; needless to say, the earlier you arrive, the more comfortable the journey will be.If you insist on driving, you should drive into town and leave your car there before getting the train or walking in. The post-match traffic is horrendous, and you'll regret it instantly otherwise. Rather, you'll regret it for a very long time!

Don't drive to the Aviva – seriously, it's a waste of time. From 4 hours before the event/game takes place, the roads surrounding the stadium are shut off to make it a safe pedestrian area. Even if you did set off 5 hours early, there is no match day parking for fans at the ground. However, there are several ways to get to the ground using public transport! The DART is an internal train line in Dublin and the simplest way to get to the station! Just take the line to Landsdown Road Station which is right next to the Aviva. An all-day ticket for an adult will cost €11.70 and a family ticket €20.You can also get the tram (LUAS) system to the ground as well as a shuttle bus that runs direct from the airport!
