What to expect from the Philips Stadion crowd?

For regular season home games you can expect the stadium to be at least one quarter full. There is a section for away fans which is usually in the 2nd tier of the northern corner of the stadium which is section 35 and 36.If you wish to get fan gear there is an official club merchandise shop at the stadium. While in the past there were incidents involving fans, these days it is a safe stadium and if you are a neutral you will be okay to sit in most areas. The east stand is the usual seating for the more fanatical fans.

With 28,000 season ticket holders in a 32,000 capacity stadium, every fan within the ground is an ardent supporter, - be in of PSV or the away team. As such, they will cheer and sing their beloved teams on until way after the final whistle has blown. There are few places in Europe with a better atmosphere than the Philips stadium – interesting for a team so backed by a company – much better than their German counterparts.
