Empoli really isn't the largest of towns with a population of around 40,000 but that doesn't mean that there aren't some good places to grab a bite to eat during your visit here. Sapori di Toscana is about as Tuscan as you can get. Family owned and operated, the staff greet you like you are one of their own and take care to leave you feeling satisfied and full! They use local ingredients to create traditional dishes for really good prices! Just a little outside of Empoli is Il Rifugio, an unassuming building that always has a full car park. The views of the countryside are just half the story though with some of the best pizza in the region being made here! Oddly enough – one of the best places in Empoli is an Indian - Karma Cucina Sfiziosa Indiana, might seem out of place but the food will have you going back for more.
