The Red-Light district of Hamburg, as you could have guessed, is full of bars and full of places to get a drink before the game!The most atmospheric and football orientated bars in the area are full of St Pauli fans all enjoying each other's company – pick one of 'St.Pauli Treff', 'Tippel II' or 'Millerntor' and have a great time – or pick all of them and have a pint in each!Nearer the ground, you will find Domschänke which is a St Pauli institution – murals of the club and its past decorate the otherwise dark interior! Otherwise the 'Jolly Roger' continues the pirate theme of St Pauli with collections of scarves from all the teams that they have played! Worth a look!

The stadium is perfectly located near to the city center and the bar district of Hamburg. The famous "Reeperbahn” is only a few hundred meters away where you can enjoy amazing nightlife and have a great time after a match. If you want to check out a local fan pub, you may want to go to "Jolly Rogers” before watching the game. Many fans will meet here before and after a match, watching the club's away games here is another cool experience. There's always action going on around the stadium, with a huge amount of bars and places to go. Get ready for some serious nightlife action!

You can't walk anywhere without falling into a pub, usually selling Astra for next to nothing. The best of the bunch are the Jolly Roger, right over the road from the stadium, is one of the best fan pubs in Germany and certainly not to be missed, if you can squeeze yourself among the throng that try and drink there on a match day (or pretty much any other day). Failing that, the Reeperbahn is right there and every second door is a pub. What more could you want?
