The Audi Sportpark has guided stadium tours that will take you behind the scenes at the stadium and gives you access to 'hidden areas' including the press areas where all the interviews take place, the business areas where deals are made to the more secretive areas such as dressing rooms and players.The tour costs €8.00 so it is definitely worth doing if you are a fan of this young club!

Ingolstadt is the city of the automobile giant 'AUDI'. Once you are in Ingolstadt you should definitely consider visiting the AUDI museum – a great experience, especially when you have a thing for cars. Unfortunately, the museum is only accessible via car from the stadium since it is about 6-7km away. To get to see the historical old town which is about 1.5km from Central Station. There is nothing really to visit within close distance to the stadium.

Ingolstadt is beautiful by anyone's standards and the city is certainly worth a visit. All the classic Bavarian tropes are on offer: mediaeval buildings, huge beer gardens, great food, slightly conservative people. Make the most of them by taking a stroll through the city centre, where you can take in the ancient walls, grab a stein and a wurst and presumably get told off a few times for walking on the grass.
