Best Pubs around Elland Road?

Elland Road is a venue in or near Leeds that is most often used for Soccer

Leeds have done everyone a favour here and dedicated a bar at the corner of the stadium specifically to home fans. It's called Howards and opens up shop two hours before kick-off. This is plenty of time for most fans, though you'll need your (away) ticket to get in. The other main away venue is Drysalters. The name is horrendous if you ask me, but the quality ales, decent food and big TV more than make up for it!

In terms of pubs around Elland Road - there isn't a whole lot for home or away fans. For home fans there is only one choice - The Peacock. A stones throw from the stadium, this is a proper Leeds United pub full of atmosphere, singing and reasonably cheap drinks! This can get a bit lairy though, so if you're an away fan, it's probably best to stay away.Because of the lack of facilities there is an AWAY fans only bar at the ground itself. 'Howards' requires you to have an away ticket to get in - and whilst this may seem a tad extreme, it ensures a safe and lively atmosphere for travelling fans. The only 'proper' pub around the stadium is a 15 minute walk away - 'Drysalters' has good drinks and big Sky TV screens helping you get excited for game time.
