Perhaps the best place to get a drink before the game is in one of Nancy's many Irish pubs. They are a tad cliché and everywhere you go – but it's like a good old fashioned Wetherspoons – they are popular for a reason. With a great atmosphere, good drinks and cracking happy hour deals you really can't go wrong at Le Medieval or La Taverne de l'Irlandais.The younger crowd might want to head to Pub Le MacCarthy after the game. Often hosting social nights where people come together and practice language skills, you are sure to find someone to talk to and with all the pub games it has, there is enough entertainment to last an evening!

Unfortunately, there is nothing fun going on around the stadium. Instead, visit the city center and go straight to La machine à vapeur. Unique bar, floating on the water with good prices, fantastic drinks, music and overall atmosphere.
